The World Jewish Congress is currently accepting nominations for the second annual Ralph Goldman Award, which offers unique leadership training experience to two promising young communal leaders by enabling them to participate in the German Marshall Fund’s ‘Transatlantic Inclusion Leadership Network’ (TILN).
Leadership development is a flagship endeavor of the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF), which is dedicated to promoting better understanding and increasing cooperation between the United States and Europe on transatlantic and global issues. Following discussions with the GMF, we are seizing the opportunity to work together in order to advance leadership opportunities for rising young Jewish leaders in the transatlantic sphere. Both the WJC and GMF believe that leadership training is one of the keys to ensuring young Jewish leaders are equipped with the tools that they need to successfully address issues of concern to many Jewish communities throughout Europe.
The TILN workshop is part of the German Marshall Fund’s ‘Brussels Forum’ which takes place each year and which brings together the top European policy makers. Recipients of the Ralph Goldman Award will attend the TILN beginning on March 15. On the evening of March 17, the TILN will join up with the Young Professionals Summit at Brussels Forum, continuing through the weekend with departures on Sunday afternoon, March 20.
Please let us know of any suitable candidates from your community to participate in this program by sending their CV, a letter of motivation from them, and a letter of recommendation from the community president or senior professional officer to cweiss@wjcmail.org.
